When our teenagers all finally were off to college and starting their own lives, my spouse and I had an empty house.
But more than that, the two of us also knew that the two of us had to face the facts when it came to our marriage as well. She and I have been the best of partners over some 25 years. Every one of us raised our children in a nice condo complete with quality heating and air. It took both of us actually working together to make that happen. But once the teenagers were gone, the two of us knew that our partnership was over as well. It was a uneasy realization however I think it had been coming for a long time. So the two of us replaced the residential Heating and Air Conditioning, sold the condo and split the cash. Both of us had tasks inside the zone controlled Heating and Air Conditioning of our respective offices and life went on. But for me, I wanted this chapter of my life to be a bit different. The work I do can be done remotely and I actually excelled with that while the two of us were in the pandemic. So now, I’m working remotely all the time. And I’m in a new place that is far smaller and actually portable. I have tiny condo that is on a trailer. I have property here in town and in two other locations that I adore. So as the seasons change, I just choice up and move my house. But I also always have the attractive heating and cooling in my tiny home. That quality heating and air is offered by a ductless heat pump. I’m embracing my new lifestyle and I have to say that it actually does fit me.
