I had a pretty difficult choice to make temporarily. My central heating plus a/c appliance was having complications with condensation dripping from the HVAC vents. And let me tell you that I really hated that! It was causing potential mold on my carpets. Until I was able to get a heating plus a/c appliance professional out to my beach dwelling to repair this complication I had to figure out something. I did not want to entirely turn off my central heating plus cooling appliance because it is still the warm season time plus I need my a/c appliance, however if I close the air vents that are dripping, I can stop the water from landing on the carpet plus just use a portable a/c appliance to help keep the room it is happening in cool. But the drawback to this is hearing a whistling noise when I shut my HVAC vents plus have the central heating plus a/c appliance working. I did it for a few days plus then made the choice that a better way to go would be to just shut off the central heating plus a/c appliance plus then go out plus get a few more portable a/c appliances to cool my dwelling that way until a certified heating plus a/c specialist could get out to my dwelling. I was not going to pay for emergency Heating & Air Conditioning appliance repair because I could get by for a little without having to go that route.
