I have constantly wanted to live exactly where we are now. For my husband and I, this is a part of the country that is a getaway spot. The two of us fell head over heels for this locale after all of our family visited some years ago. And, it was just something that neither of us could ever shake. In our spare time, we both started looking up sites that allowed us to check out the housing situation there but there just wasn’t much out there. But the feeling was so strong, all of us decided that a short term rental might be just the thing for us to try. We thought that we wanted to live in this section, and plus our lease was coming up. Both of us then secured jobs in this area and so it really made sense to make the big move to a short term rental situation. A short term lease would allow us the ability to live here and also start looking for a permanent housing solution. Going with a furnished apartment for rent allowed us to leave all of our other stuff in the house that we were going to be selling. And that meant when we did sell our home, our belongings would simply be packed up and then moved out into storage. And without the short term apartment rental option, it would have been pretty hard to make our situation work. Being able to have a furnished place on a month to month lease allowed us to get to where we wanted to live. It will happen and the right house is out there. But for now, I sure am thankful for this short term rental that we found.
