I woke up not long ago, and our control device told myself and others that it was 59 degrees in the house! It was marvelous, and I did not realize that it was expected to get that chilly overnight, however in fct, I had our air conditioning on! Of course, the control device was set for 70, and because it got so chilly outside, our air conditioning certainly never kicked in all night.
I prefer this time of year because I can open the windows and turn the entire Heating and A/C system off, there is no need for air conditioning or the heater, and I prefer that, then at the same time, it is substantial to remember that the cooler weather means that Wintertide will be here actually soon! Now, I live in the southeast, so winters are actually mild.
There is no shoveling snow or bringing in big trucks to fill up the tanks on fuel heating systems around here. Almost everyone has central heating and cooling, and the hardest thing the two of us have to do is flip the switch on the control device from “cool” to “heater” in order to use the heating, however, I have found that using the furnace is much more fancy than using the air conditioning. I asked the Heating and A/C girl about it, thinking it might just be our imagination, although she confirmed our suspicions. She also provided a reason. She believes that since the two of us live in a region where air conditioning is used all the time and heating is infrequently, people don’t take care of their gas furnaces and they should. She recommends that everyone get their heating evaluated and worked on each Autumn.
