This outdated apartment has lots of creeks and cracks, the insulation is 1 down and there are a lot of crappy spots! Some of the windows have cracks in the weather stripping; Every one of us have a wood oil furnace in the living room and it keeps the living room, kitchen, and dining room easily sizzling and comfortable.
The rest of the apartment is filled with baseboard heaters.
They don’t toil easily well. The oil furnaces are 40 years old. The bathroom is especially cold, especially on an icy, Winter time day; I never take a shower early in the day. I constantly wait until the day because it is the warmest area of the day, but when both of us had some easily chilly weather this year, I decided to buy a small space furnace to put in the bathroom. When I take a shower, it fills the entire space with heat. The space furnace is an interesting machine. It plugs into the outlet on the wall. It’s straight-forward to use and it does not require a lot of space. It puts out a ton of heat, especially when the bathroom door is closed; My partner didn’t believe that furnace would toil easily well, since it was so small; She was easily surprised when she saw the results. Both of us use the furnace when both of us take a shower. Every one of us turn on the sizzling air about 10 minutes before both of us use the bath and we’re constantly pleasantly surprised when both of us open the door. I don’t mind showering anytime of the day now. It’s certainly nice to have full use of our bathroom, even when it’s chilly outside.
