I was talking to our sister on the PC the other day and she mentioned to myself and others that she can’t wait until she can turn off her heat and open her home up again and get some fresh Springtime air.
My sister lives in the north and they have their heat on by Halloween.
I pity her sometimes. I sure don’t miss the frosty northern winters or the high heating bills. It costs more to heat our cabin up there for multiple months than it costs to run our a/c all year here. Every one of us live in a tropical section now and I have been able to open up our home for a fine section of this month. In fact, quite recently, I ran the a/c and heating on the same day. It was almost 70 degrees when I woke up that day and I knew it was going to be a moderate and humid day.The a/c was already on. It’s the middle of Winter time and it still reaches 85 degrees on some days. That’s not honestly too uncomfortably warm, however with our humidity, you honestly need the a/c on moderate days savor those. Around dinner time the other day, a storm moved through and the temperature dropped into the 50s. Every one of us ended up turning off the a/c and turning on the heat that night. The storm brought in a cool front and the following days were comfortable enough to keep the windows open most of the time, although I did not tell our sister that.
