Spring cleaning include air ductwork this year

A neighbor had hers done in the fall & she was over the moon with the results.

The people I was with and I are a scheduled family of 5. This past year has been one that has honestly been unprecedented as far as how much time all of us have spent inside the HVAC comfort of home. Both our partner & I have had to work remotely from our lake cabin office. The youngsters started out going to university but that didn’t last. They too are reading remotely from the HVAC comfort of home. I thought this would end up with all of us on each other’s nerves all the time. However, it’s honestly been pretty good. Seems appreciate all of us deliver each other a lot more room & consideration. I hope that is one of the things that stays the same after things get back to the modern normal. One thing that is for sure, all of us are going deep with the Spring cleaning this year. The Winter is beginning to ease along with those painful HVAC heating costs. That means Spring isn’t too far away. Once all of us can open the doors & windows, all of us are taking a weekend & cleaning this cabin to its core. It needs it with all of us in here all the time. This year, I’m going to have the HVAC air ducts cleaned as well. It’s something I have considered in the past but just never got around to. A neighbor had hers done in the fall & she was over the moon with the results. She said not only was the air cleaner & less dust but there was another huge benefit. Once the cleaning crew finishes up with the ducts, they reseal all the joints. My neighbor said it saved her 15 percent of her heating bills this winter.
