My cabin has a lot of square footage & the AC equipment works hard, but there are parts of the cabin that are warmer than others.
- The living room has constantly been about 5 or 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house! Just a small number of years ago, my wife & I decided to buy a ductless AC equipment for the living room.
It was costly to have the additional unit installed, but it absolutely helped the indoor air temperatures in our living room. I’ve been relying on that AC equipment for the last 2 years & I was certainly irritated when it broke down & quit working. It happened earlier this month on a certainly tepid & humid day. The AC equipment seemed to be running all day. Every time I walked into the living room, the ductless AC equipment was running, during the day hours, I walked into the living room to opening up some towels. I noticed it was certainly hot inside the room but the ductless AC equipment was not running. I tried to unplug the unit & I also tried to flip the breaker… Neither one of those things helped, so I called the service service. They could not come help until Tuesday, & I didn’t have any way to cool the living room until then. I was miserable living without the additional ductless AC unit. I forgot how tepid & uncomfortable the living room can be without the extra cooling machine. I was harshly thankful when the professional told me that the service was only going to cost $200. I was upset it might be a significant problem.
