Even though the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C contractor hadn’t yet been to the house to service the gas furnace, I needed to have it run, then both of us had already had several evenings when the un-even temperatures were near freezing.
I didn’t want our family to be uncomfortable or get sick, but my wife turned on the gas furnace, which made myself and others worry.
I could hear some odd noises coming out of the gas furnace, but all of us hoped it was just because it hadn’t been used in several months. Both of us hoped the need for a new gas furnace would be in one or more years, but all of us weren’t sure; When the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C contractor finally arrived, she called an hour ahead of time to make sure the gas furnace wasn’t running. She said she would be there by noon to do the servicing. My wife turned off the gas furnace as the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C contractor advocated. It took him about an hour, but she said the gas furnace should be nice for this year. She also said to be prepared for the opening of having a new gas furnace installed next year, but several small repairs had already been done, plus said if anything happened, all of us should request she come out to repair it.
